Karl Rove and Bill O’Reilly Caught by Jon Stewart
The hypocrisy of partisan pundits – Karl Rove, Bill O’Reilly, Nancy Pfotenhauer, appropriately-named DICK Morris and even Sarah Palin – was hilariously exposed by the Daily Show’s Jon Stewart in what is sure to become a classic:

Red Eye on Fox News
The show RED EYE which airs really late night on FOX News is actually wickedly funny and sometimes incisively so. Try to watch the clip from their Feb 26 discussion about the Hamas Bunny. It is the right’s version of the Daily Show with Jon Stewart and the Colbert Report, among my all-time favorites, only [...]

Maybe I am a fool…
Nothing like Jon Stewart’s reporting to shatter one’s fantasies of political la-la-land. These segments highlight my foolishness in writing the earlier posts, and expose much of the hypocrisy of exclusionary politicians and regressive policies at this last week’s RNC convention – plus they are damn funny! On the Stark Differences between McCain and Bush: (make [...]

Colbert Report on Rudy Giuliani’s Comedy Routine
Start watching at minute 1:30 for a good interpretation of Rudy’s speech at the RNC. Also an analysis of Sarah Palin’s "rejection" of the bridge to nowhere, at minute 4:00.

Towering scholar Bernard Lewis, described by Allen as the "eminence grise" of Islamic studies, is oddly enough the [...]

I was laughing my ass off, but at the same time my stoacmh was churning. My husband sent me this link, after I sent him the link to the letter about Palin. Why is the Daily Show the only one that seems to expose the hypocrisy of Carl Rove et. al.? Too bad the people who watch Fox all day long never bother to watch Jon Stewart. The next time I go to the doctor’s office and see Fox blaring from the tv, I’m going to complain that it offends me.
