The KIND Team did the KIND Thing this week in partnership with actress Mariska Hargitay and her Joyful Heart Foundation. Last month, Mariska and KIND launched a KINDING Mission to encourage others to lend their support to a parent or caregiver. Because enough people carried out the mission, Mariska joined the KIND Team for a Big KIND Act at Safe Horizon’s Manhattan Child Advocacy Center to help pack healing kits, filled with books, crayons, and other school essentials for children who have suffered abuse or neglect. Read more about this Big KIND Act on AccessHollywood.com and UsWeekly.com.

My sister forwarded me this news story about an unusual March of Life – a journey by children and grandchildren of SS officers who took a direct part in the Holocaust. Their grandchildren chose to march across the death camps and say Never Again. It is one of the most touching pieces I have seen in a long time – certainly worth watching.

Say hello to Family Circle magazine’s newest ‘Circle of Excellence’ award-winner: KIND. Dark Chocolate Cherry Cashew + Antioxidants! This month, the bar received rave reviews from Family Circle’s panel of discerning taste testers, who deemed it the perfect healthy way to satisfy the need for a chocolate splurge.

Cooking Light turned its praises towards KIND Healthy Grains by encouraging healthy snackers to “shake up” their typical granolas and choose KIND instead.

Julian Tapia, Editor-in-Chief of StyleRumor , can’t get enough of Maiyet’s Spring 2013 Collection.

Spotted by Daniel Lubetzky, by Julianna Storch

“It seems that Maiyet’s broken the mold for next Spring and achieved what some would consider the “triple crown” of a brilliant collection – luxuriousness, desirability and wearability. But it also inscribed a fourth criteria that is very much a category it owns; the positive sentiment buyers get knowing that the pieces they’re wearing were forged by the hands of craftsmen whose works are little known outside of their isolated communities. That uniqueness is already the basis of what makes luxury items so desirable; its uniqueness that sets it apart from the rest. Thus, the first criteria has already been achieved.”
