Executive Assistant to the CEO
Job Description & Primary Responsibilities
KIND Healthy Snacks (www.kindsnacks.com) is a socially conscious brand of all-natural healthy snacks that “Do the KIND Thing for your body, your taste buds, & the world.”® Our CEO is looking for an executive assistant to join us and excel in our energetic, creative, warm, fun and fast-paced environment. KIND was originally founded by PeaceWorks, a company that fosters joint business ventures among neighbors striving to co-exist in conflict regions worldwide. The assistant will also be involved with supporting the President’s role in the PeaceWorks Foundation and its flagship OneVoice Movement (www.OneVoiceMovement.org).
This position supports the CEO and his staff at KIND Healthy Snacks and at the PeaceWorks Foundation in the New York City office. The assistant will primarily support the president in his KIND endeavors (75%) but also contribute to the PeaceWorks Foundation (25%). The position requires attention to detail, strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to juggle many demanding tasks with discretion and poise.

Responsibilities
The executive assistant will serve as connector between staff and the CEO; the CEO’s efficiency and smooth operations of the entire office depend on this individual. Specific duties include:
- Manage CEO’s calendar and complex time demands
- Manage outreach and conversations with high-level individuals and dignitaries
- Liaise with executive management team
- Coordinate CEO’s travel schedules and arrangements
- Manage CEO’s contact database
- Filtering and screening a high volume of emails on behalf of the CEO, as well as handling phone calls and incoming mail
- Provide support to OneVoice in fundraising efforts as needed
- Assist with the CEO’s finances
Qualifications
· Exceptional academic record and Bachelor’s degree from accredited university and minimum of 4 years’ experience as Executive Assistant
· Knowledge of and interest in natural foods industry, social entrepreneurship, or the Israeli-Palestinian conflict
· Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
· Discreet and professional manner
· Ambitious with a strong work ethic
· Reliable, responsible and thorough
· Deep sense of loyalty, dedication, commitment
· Track record of exceptional achievement
· Ability to work alone or as part of a team
· Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Compensation commensurate with experience.
