Ron Mueck - cool art work - real or not real?!

Ron Mueck is a London-based photo-realist artist. Fiberglass resin or flesh? I just thought this too cool not to share…

  1. I was just wondering is it a real dead baby?

  2. No, that is what is so impressive about this artist. These are all made from fiberglass resin.

  3. This is so amzing.I mean I can’t believe you can make these sculpters look so realistic

  4. I’d like to know what inspires him to make such realistic works of art in such a wide variety of sizes? It makes me wonder if he wishes to place an emphasis on the meaning of some and not on others, or if it’s simply just a choice driven by momentary inspiration. I find these works realistically disturbing and incredibly overwhelming (in a good way!) at the same time. I’d love to witness these pieces in person and examine for myself the meaning behind each pieve, if indeed there is any. Thank you for posting them!

  5. where is this?

  6. This sculptures are phenomenal.I my self love many types or art but this art has completly captured my eyes. What a great job to creat sculpture to vivid humans.I’d love to visit this place in the future….

  7. SCALE! Real? Come on.
