Meg Wheatley and Deborah Frieze just came out with a book that is sure to be inspiring.  Titled, Walk Out Walk On: A Learning Journey into Communities Daring to Live the Future Now,” the book conveys stories of the people that the women met from their work at The Berkana Institute.  It hopes to mobilize people worldwide towards strengthening their communities.

CNN reported an amazing story about a father who was reunited with his long lost daughter via Twitter.  Daniel Morales obtained a phone and began tweeting via the “Unheard in New York” project that was initiated by a group of interns hoping to give a voice to the homeless.  This story shows that those spearheading the project did not only accomplish their amazing goal, but that they created a salient example of how social media can be used for immense good.

Conflict Kitchen is a fascinating concept: food is served to communicate the stories of different cultures via iconic store fronts.  The featured country rotates every four months and the rotation is meant to educate as well as to please palates.  Check out more here!
