Look at this picture up close and you see Albert Einstein.

Now step back 15 feet.  What do you see?

Kazakhstan Night at World Economic Forum

Published under Funnies May 18, 2008

Kazakhstan hosted a dinner tonight at the World Economic Forum meeting in Sharm El Sheikh.  The President’s welcome speech was actually very interesting and insightful, but the night was stolen by "horse meat with

attributes."  Jimmy Wales (Wikipedia founder and all-around great guy) was feasting on it until I regretfully opened my mouth and mentioned what he was eating.  Borat has nothing on this delicacy.

Wouldn’t it be great if ordinary citizens all joined together and said, "I have had enough – and I am going to do something about it!" and then pushed their Heads of State to once and for all deliver a two-state-agreement?!

They could draw inspiration from this:

"I am mad as hell, and I am not going to take this anymore!"

- From NETWORK, the movie (let’s just hope that the civic action wouldn’t be hijacked by corporate networks, though it could turn into something like this):

This is better than a warning on a cigarette box.

We have grown so distant from nature that we no longer know, or even care, about where things come from, or how they look in their original state.

I was curious about these, so I finally looked it up.  Can you guess their origins and natural form?

1) Water Chestnuts
2) Sesame Seeds
3) Oats
4) Cashmere: do you know what it is? Is it a process for treating cotton? Does it come from a plant? Does it come from sheep, or a goat, or a cow or other animal? Is it just the name for combing wool very softly?
5) Figs
6) Vanilla
7) Peanuts
8) Macadamias
9) Horseradish
10) A Head of Lettuce

First visualize whether you really know the above.  Then click below (in "More") for the answers.

The show RED EYE which airs really late night on FOX News is actually wickedly funny and sometimes incisively so.

Try to watch the clip from their Feb 26 discussion about the Hamas Bunny.

It is the right’s version of the Daily Show with Jon Stewart and the Colbert Report, among my all-time favorites, only surpassed by the Seinfeld Series.

Below is a funny article about a man that set out to discover where all the ingredients in a twinkie came from…and the greater issue about all the artificial ingredients in our food…

I never cease to be amazed how our mass culture has created a permissiveness to eat and manufacture products whose ingredients you can’t see or pronounce.

That is, by the way, why KIND has a commitment to "ingredients you can see and pronounce."(R)
