To further aggravate the concern I’ve shared in the past about how we self-select entertainment over information and how we tend to look for “news” that reaffirms our beliefs rather than challenges us to hear other perspectives, I just came across this good TED talk by Eli Pariser from last year, where he points out how internet companies are reinforcing that bias by presenting to us more of what they think we want based on what we’ve clicked in the past, shutting out important information that may be less fun but more necessary.

Food & Wine Magazine featured KIND Healthy Grains in its trend-spotting section this month, confirming that KIND is perfect for both foodies and health nuts.  And to solidify that point, KIND Healthy Grains received praise from registered dietician Samantha Heller on NY1 for being a heart-healthy granola alternative to be added to yogurt, milk or even just eaten as a snack!

For the second time in January, KIND was praised on the TODAY show for its high protein content and nutritional value.  This time, not only was KIND awarded a blue ribbon for being the best ranked bar, but Men’s Health editor David Zinczecko dubbed it “the Ryan Gosling of bars,” a high honor indeed!

This Huffington Post article by Joel Braunold of OneVoice is excellent and worth reading.  Joel articulates the deeper meaning behind UNESCO Membership for Palestinians: “the establishment of World Heritage sites.”  According to Joel, this is crucial in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict which at its core is about connection to the land, and control over it.

Another KIND Tuesday has come and gone, and this time, your kindness has enabled us to deliver Thanksgiving meals to seniors in need! This big feat was impressive enough to capture CBS LA and LA Magazine’s attention, as you can see from the great clips below.
